Most items, whether purchased online at Kohls.com or in the store, are eligible for an even exchange within 90 days of the purchase for non-Kohl's Card transactions and within 120 days of the date of purchase for Kohl's Card transactions with the following exceptions.
Premium Electronics And Watches: Must be presented along with the purchase receipt at your local Kohl’s within 30 days of the date of purchase. Please note these particular items must be in their original packaging as well. When exchanging electronic devices, including smart watches, please be sure to remove any personal data and information saved to the device.
Beauty Purchases (Including Sephora at Kohl's), must be new or in gently used condition and must be returned within 30 days from the date of purchase and with a valid receipt or account/tender lookup. Sephora products that are marked as final sale cannot be returned.
Babies "R" Us Registry Items: Items purchased from a gift registry may be returned up to 365 days after purchase date with gift receipt or original receipt. The above restrictions still apply.
Opened/unsealed breast pumps and pumping accessories are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged.
At this time, Kohl’s does not offer exchanges by mail. All even exchanges must be done with the same item in the store. The replacement item must exactly match the item being returned, except for size and/or color. The ticketed price of the replacement item must exactly match the ticketed price of the item being exchanged.
In order to be eligible for an even exchange, the item must be from the same brand but in a different color or size. (Please note some items such as bedding are priced by size so an even exchange cannot be done in this instance)
If you purchased an item that is only available online or the store cannot complete the exchange from their on hand inventory, you need to return it in-store and then place a new order.
If you wish to exchange an item you received as a gift, you can do so with a gift receipt. If you don't have the receipt, please contact the person who purchased the item for you. If you're unable to do so, the store may process a non-receipted return. The refund price will be the lowest price in the last 13 weeks and a Kohl’s Merchandise Credit will be given.
