Shipping Restrictions
We're sorry! Due to air transport safety regulations, certain items (e.g. pressurized spray cans, hairspray and nail polish) that contain regulated or hazardous materials cannot be shipped via our Priority Service or sent to Alaska, Hawaii, and/or a Post Office Box, including APO/FPO military addresses.
Due to these regulations, advertised shipping deadlines for certain items, including beauty and fragrance, are different from those for general merchandise. To make sure your merchandise will arrive on time, always check for any shipping restrictions located under the product details on the specific product page.
In addition, APO/FPO packages may be subject to additional conditions or restrictions of mailing regarding content, preparation, and handling. The APO/FPO table in the link below outlines these conditions by APO/FPO zip codes through footnoted mailing restrictions codes (please see pages 46-50).

Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS) and Cookware Sales Restrictions
Why can’t Kohl’s sell cookware containing intentionally added PFAS in some states?
Certain states have passed laws restricting or banning the sale of products containing intentionally added PFAS. As a result, Kohl’s does not offer for sale certain cookware products in those states.
What are PFAS?
PFAS are a large group of human-made chemicals that have been used for decades to make products nonstick, stain-resistant, grease-resistant, or water-repellent. In cookware, PFAS have commonly been used in certain nonstick coatings to help prevent food from sticking and to make pans easier to clean.
Does this apply to all cookware?
No. The restrictions apply only to cookware that contains intentionally added PFAS, such as some nonstick coatings. Many cookware products without PFAS remain available for sale at Kohl’s.
Why do the rules differ by state?
PFAS laws are set at the state level and vary by product category, scope, and effective date. For example, states such as Minnesota, Maine, and Colorado, among others, have enacted broader restrictions than many other states.
Can Kohl’s make exceptions or sell these items online?
No. Applicable state laws prohibit the sale or shipment of covered products to customers located in those states, whether the transaction occurs in-store or online.
Will these products be available again in the future?
Availability depends on changes in state law or manufacturers reformulating products to remove PFAS. Kohl’s continually reviews its assortment to comply with applicable laws.
What alternatives does Kohl’s offer?
Kohl’s offers a wide range of cookware options that do not contain intentionally added PFAS and remain available for sale nationwide, including ceramic, cast iron, and stainless steel cookware.
