Wanted one forever!
I had wanted to try a gel pad for my bed but not bad enough to spend hundreds of dollars on one! I decided to give it a shot - I could always return it if I didn't like it. I read reviews about smell, seems being crooked, etc. but mine was perfect. I put it on my bed immediate ( very simple to put on, it really would fit a 15 inch mattress) My son came in and plopped himself on it and said "Wow, what did you do to this bed? So I ordered him one the next day and he slept so good he was 2 hours late for work.

This product cut down on heat retension
We have a temperpedic mattress and it holds in the heat when laying on it. I have to get up during the night to cool the mattress down. I bought this mattress pad to see if it would help because of the cooling feature. So far it seems to help with the mattress not holding heat, but it doesn't seem to cool.
It fit well, but seems to bunch up in the morning. We do not have a deep mattress so maybe that is the reason.
overall it has made sleeping much more comfortable.

Feels great
I really like this mattress cover. I can tell a difference compared to the lesser quality mattress cover I had been using. Ive washed it and it washes well. The memory foam does its job cooling and making the bed feel more comfortable. One thing and Im not sure much can be done due it being pre-formed, the cover does tend to gather into creases. The creases do flatten out easily. But this is why i deduct a mark for style. if this cover were custom made to fit the bed i doubt the material would gather in creases.

Cooler, but not more comfortable
This mattress pad is a little cooler than the pad we had before, but It's not necessarily more comfortable. We have a King size bed and the pad doesn't lay flat and tight to the mattress. It buckles in places, so you don't have a smooth, flat surface. We are going to give it another week, and if we don't like it, return it.
