Blade Guard® 8-inch Locking Knife Blade Protector

Protect Every Knife Blade in Your Kit. Blade Guard™ 8-Inch Locking Knife Blade Protector. Protect your kitchen knife’s cutting edge during storage and transport with the Agilux Blade Guard 8-inch locking knife blade protector. Designed for compatible chef’s, santoku and nakiri knives, its hinged body closes around the blade to cover the cutting edge and tip. Locking tabs help keep the guard closed, while dual internal rubber stops help limit movement of a properly fitted blade. Use it to reduce contact between the knife edge and surrounding utensils when organizing kitchen drawers or packing suitable knife rolls and cooking kits. The 8-inch model accommodates compatible blades up to 8 inches long. Measure the blade only, excluding the handle. Blade width, thickness, curvature and heel shape also affect compatibility. The entire blade must fit inside, and the locking tabs must close completely without forcing the guard. Made from BPA-free polypropylene, Blade Guard is dishwasher safe for convenient cleaning. It provides practical blade coverage for home kitchens, culinary school, catering, camping and RV cooking supplies. Includes one grey 8-inch Blade Guard. Knife, knife roll and other guard sizes are not included. “At first I thought it was bulky to carry. As soon as I closed it over the knife and heard it snap closed — I was hooked. — Capt. Colin McCarthy, Living on Island Time Fish Charter. Runs Blade Guard on his fillet knife — now throws it in his bag and travels safely. ⚠️ Why locking matters: Open-top guards rely on friction to stay on. In a tackle bag, cooler, or RV drawer, that friction can fail when the knife shifts or gets jostled. The Blade Guard™ locking tabs — backed by two rubber stops — keep the blade fully enclosed under pressure, vibration, and movement. Key Specifications. Design: Fully enclosed hinged body with secure locking tabs and dual rubber stops. Visibility: Frosted — see the blade without opening the guard. Dishwasher Safe: Yes.
