The abrasive sleeves mounted on the machine’s spindles oscillate up-and-down 1-inch, 30 times per minute while the spindle spins. This speed and accuracy provide more efficient abrasive cutting action. This spindle sander features a powerful 0.5 horsepower motor, all-steel gearing, ample cast iron tilting table, and metal housing. This sander also includes 5 spindle diameters ranging from 0.5 inches to 2 inches and 4 table inserts, making this a valuable machine for every shop. This is a must-have for any shop that is doing contour sanding. Whether you're sanding curves, bevels, or other contours, this sander will provide a beautiful, scratch-free finish.
