Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not your usual Lee jeans First, Let me say I love Lee jeans, but the 2 pair I just received seem like pretenders. The quality is cheap and they have a terrible smell from either pesticide or low quality dye. The black ones are worse than the blue ones. Both pairs have been washed twice, separately. The blue ones smell worse since washing. Then I needed to clean the washer because it smelled. The jeans still smell as does my laundry room. I can't wear these jeans although I did try them on and then needed a shower to get the smell off. I don't think I feel like putting anymore effort into these, so they will be in the trash soon. Best advice - DO NOT BUY!!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from OMG where are the pockets?!?!?!?!? Ordered the first 3 pair in my normal size and they were "falling off" too big, got the next smaller size and they are still very loose fitting, but I could not wear a smaller size. Put my belt through the belt loops and had to pull hard to get it through. BIGGEST ISSUE? The pockets, or lack thereof. Where there used to be decent pockets that a wallet and a set of keys would fit, there are now worthless pockets a field mouse couldn't use. WOMEN NEED POCKETS IN THEIR CLOTHES!!! I don't carry a purse, so everything I need goes in my pockets. Everything. Now, I guess I am not allowed to carry anything.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not Impressed I have been ordering these jeans frequently in descending size because I have been on a new lifestyle with diet and exercise and am finding them to be inconsistent with sizing and fit. Sometimes they are great. Other times they are way off. I always order at least 2 pair of the same style Monroe. 1 in black for work and 1 in the dark Horizon for every day. This time there was such a BIG difference that they are BOTH going back. The black fit low and tight and the horizon fit way above the waist and big. Going to have to find a new brand to buy I guess. Tired of wasting money on jeans that don't fit.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Try a size smaller due to stretch factor I've purchased two pairs of these jeans in the last year. I am in between size 22 and 24, but have heavy thighs and bottom so I usually choose a size up to allow for extra material. The first pair was size 24 and I loved them because they were loose fitting and flattering because of that. However, I quickly realized that if I didn't wear a belt, they'd be falling off or sitting too low on my hips, especially after wearing them for only a little while and they stretched out! I just bought two more pairs and went with the size 22 and they are perfect. No belt, but still some give/looseness in the seat and thighs and in the end, a bit more flattering because they aren't TOO baggy! I just wish someone would make jeans with actual JEAN fabric (100% cotton) and not so much of the spandex or whatever stretchy material they are putting in them!
