Rated 1 out of 5 by from No Good The change in size of this filter effectively killed the usefulness of my Evap 1. It is only half true, the statement, " Vornado has found through testing the output is the same with the 1 1/2" filter."---IT HAS TO FIT FOR THAT TO BE TRUE. I now have to prop the filters with a series of well placed straws to keep it from falling inward. ALSO, the life expectancy of this newly sized filter has also been reduced proportionately. The cost of these filters remains one the highest for the comparable competition. I bought my Evap 1 in 2010. I noticed the filter change in 2013. I understand that it is customary to make model changes rather quickly but don't think you're apple and we're all gonna upgrade to keep up in the humidifier world.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Hard to find Wicks in stores We love the Humidifier, we own two of them. However, it is very hard to find the replacement wicks in the store and the stores that came up on the "Find the Store" search do not sell the product/filters. We find it very expensive to order the filters on-line because of the shipping cost.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Humidifier good, replacement wicks an issue We have been using two Vornado humidifiers during the winter for years and are pleased with the value and simple design. The replacement wicks used to be easy to find in stores but this year are something of a hunt. Don't count on this site's FIND A STORE feature for accuracy.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Poor/Confusing Info About Filters I bought an EVAP-3 unit. The manual calls for MD1-0002 filters. This web site calls for MD1-0001. This site provides no specs on the filters to help decide which is appropriate. Another seller provides dimensions, which look like the "01" is correct. And again, the unit requires two filters (a pair) to operate. You sell a box with two filters, but is this just one pair or two pair? You are very unclear. Your ineptness makes what should be an easy reorder procedure much more difficult.
