The vacuum itself is good but if you have long hair be prepared to take off the roller brush and cut off the hair. This vacuum does not suck up the hair and shred it for you as it advertises.

My old vacuum had died a violent death, so I had to purchase a new one kind of quickly. This one had received average to above average reviews through most outlets, and I liked the price and small, light-weight style. I will say it has way more power than you'd think, and I do love the accessory hose (works very well). To me, the vacuum doesn't feel the sturdiest, but I do like the bagless feature and you can see what you're sucking up. I would say if you live in smaller quarters, this would work well. But if you live in a larger scale home with more storage room, I would go for a larger, more powerful unit.

I have been amazed at how much dirt it picks up and how easily it transitions from carpet to hardwood with no loss of power.

I have a professional cleaning company clean my house every 2 weeks. But with a toddler and dog I find myself vacuuming 100 times before they show up. I had a vacuum that was about 5 years old and I'd since lost all the attachments so it was time for a new one. I came home and vacuumed and wow...the entire canister filled up. There is power here when you turn on the carpet brushes. It's easy to go from hard wood to carpet by turning those on and off. Lightweight enough for my toddler to help me vacuum, and easy to lift over our stair gate to go up the steps. I think it may be a sign I'm almost 30 when I'm online raving about a vacuum but whatever, I love it. Worth every penny, great tool for a mid-range vacuum.
