Find your Style at Kohl’s Sun Valley

Sun Valley, CA, – not to be confused with similarly named locales in a handful of other states – sits at the base of the Verdugo Mountains. It was settled in the 1870s thanks to the addition of a water tower built to serve the Southern Pacific Railroad. The area was known as Roscoe, also the name of the cross street just south of Kohl’s Sun Valley, until 1948 when residents, many drawn by aerospace jobs in the area, voted to rename the neighborhood.

Despite its proximity to the glitz and glamor of Hollywood, the San Fernando Valley neighborhood maintains a small-town feel, somewhere Kohl’s is right at home. That’s not to say Sun Valley is a stranger to movie making. The Pink Motel and Cadillac Jacks diner, with their midcentury charm, have provided the backdrop for everything from The Rockford Files to Mandy Moore music videos.

Kohl’s Sun Valley, located where Laurel Canyon Boulevard meets Webb Avenue at the corner of Peoria Street in the Canyone Valley shopping center, is easily accessible from nearby San Fernando, Burbank, Van Nuys, Glendale and North Hollywood.
