Rated 3 out of 5 by from So Disappointed These towels are large, absorbent, soft . . . and not colorfast. We got the light green, 2 each of wash cloth, hand towel and bath towel. In just three washings, they were varying shades. I returned them. Thinking it was just a bad dye lot, we tried again a couple of months later. In short order, parts of each piece were yellowing. We're keeping them, but not a one of them 'matches' the others at this point. They are not named appropriately; there's nothing luxurious about the way they look hanging in my bathroom. If you buy these towels, get white, maybe ivory. Based on other reviews, the light green is not the only color that's inferior.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from disappointing-dye ran when washed I was happy to find 12 bath towels, hand towels and face cloths in the color we wanted. As one is suppose to wash them before using, I did that knowing that our company was arriving in the next few days. I was disgusted to see that ten out of the 12 bath towels, some of the hand towels, as well as some of the face cloths were streaked as if they had been bleached. The beautiful, fluffy green towels were now streaked with large orange marks. With time running short, I did not return them. I did, however, have to explain to our visitors that the collection were not dirty, but rather brand new.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Colors are fading and excessive lint. I wish I had seen all the fading color reviews before I bought these towels. The towels are thick and feel comfy but after only a couple of washes there are fade marks. I noticed orange spots on my new beige towels which looked like bleach fade but we had no bleach anywhere in the house so it's not that. Something is really wrong with these towels. There is also excessive lint. I had people picking lint out of my hair quite often which is embarrassing. I thought Vera Wang was a high quality name but after buying these towels I no longer believe in that name brand. I would never buy these towels again and strongly recommend going with another brand.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Pretty but shedding.... Love these towels but unfortunately the 1st and 2nd time they were washed & dried, the lint filled the lint collector in the dryer. All towels create lint but this was more than normal. The ones we bought were orange so it was easy to see what was causing the increase in lint. We love Vera towels and bought another style that is wonderful. The difference is the name. The towels that shed are called "Simply Vera Vera Wang Pure Luxury Bath Towel." The ones we love are called "Simply Vera Vera Wang Pure Luxury Chevron Bath Towel." The ones that say "Chevron" in the name are great and would recommend them.
