Wish I had one of these years ago!
I was looking for a different way to cook my asparagus, which we grow and eat EVERY DAY for 2 months every summer. I was getting sick of microwaved and grilled and steaming seemed to be a healthy option. We have been using it daily since it arrived.... We love it! Heavy duty, easy to clean...I couldn't be happier!

I Use This Thing ALL THE TIME!
I was in the market for a nice steamer. I was reluctantly looking at electronic models. I wanted something that got me away from microwaving veggies in the steam packets, but I wasn't excited about losing counter space or the cleanup that would undoubtedly be involved. I came across this contraption and decided to give it a try. I am so glad I did! It works great and clean up is a cinch! It adjusts to whatever size pan you are using and folds up very small for storage.

Design flaw
This steamer feels heavy duty, HOWEVER, the problem is the way the center handle fastens to the basket. A small screw inserts into a hole in the bottom of the basket screws into the handle. Imagine not just the weight of the basket (which is substantial) but add the weight of the food in the basket all suspended by the diameter of a small screw head under the basket. Can you say - CLEAN UP!

Sub par quality
The plastic top and metal parts of the handle fell off after just a few washings and one of the "legs" on the bottom fell off recently as well. Not happy with this purchase.
