great value for the price
easy to assemble. seems to be very sturdy. exactly the piece that we were looking for in our laundry room entrance. purchased a bench seat pad for this bench. it does not come w/ a padded seat cushion.

Good product, lousy directions
Overall this is 5 star but the directions and the dowel connectors are taking off points. The plastic dowel connectors didn't fit and fortunately we had the tools to make the holes bigger. But it was worth the effort. I would still recommend it with the caveat to be prepared to get different dowels or drill holes bigger. It is very sturdy and looks nice in the hallway.

Cubby seems pretty durable!
Product came with incorrectly drilled holes on the top, contacted manufacturer and they promptly sent me a new one. I also suggested a change to the instructions and manufacturer agreed. Center uprights cut slightly short, nothing a little shim didn't fix.

I bought two of these benches to go in my sunroom and I loved them. I put them together with the directions and only messed up once, read the directions. The second time was easier. The only problem I had one corner had been hit and was chipped but I put that one against the TV stand and it can't be seen. Love these benches because I like to use white furniture and they look great in my sunroom. I went to the Kohl's store and bought the basket, they were on sell, 60% off!
