Ingredient Callouts: Free of parabens, formaldehydes, formaldehyde-releasing agents, phthalates, mineral oil, retinyl palmitate, oxybenzone, coal tar, hydroquinone, sulfates SLS & SLES, triclocarban, triclosan, and contains less than one percent synthetic fragrance. It is also gluten-free, cruelty-free, and comes in recyclable packaging.
What Else You Need to Know: Cut down your cleaning time with this lightly scented gel-like formula that effectively and gently removes even the toughest products from brush fibers and makeup sponges. Leaves no oily residue and is hypoallergenic and cruelty-free. Use regularly to extend the life of your tools.
- Wet the brush head or sponge
- Add 1-2 pumps of brush shampoo onto a dry towel/cloth, pad or brush head.
- Gently run over brush over the towel/cloth or pad until surface oil and dirt are removed.
- Lather, rinse and repeat as needed.
- Reshape the bristles of the brush and lay it flat to dry.
- Pro tip: For natural-hair brushes, sweep brush head in a back and forth motion. For synthetic fiber brushes, use a circular motion (note that synthetic brushes may have more oil build up and multiple applications may be needed for a thorough clean).
