The Escali SpotIR Infrared Surface Probe Dig Thermometer is an extremely versatile tool with the functions of two thermometers in one device. Its IR (Infrared) mode lets you read surface temperatures, which is great for checking the temps of grill grates, pizza stones or food.

PRODUCT FEATURES

• Range: -58°F to 662°F (-50°C to 350°C) IR, -4°F to 572°F (-20°C to 300°C) Probe
• The port on the main unit allows a probe (included) to be plugged into the device. This design is ideal for longer cooks when you want to leave a probe in the meat and watch the temperature over time.
• 2 units in one. Ability to check surface temperatures in surface (infrared) mode and internal temperatures in probe mode.
• The 5 to 1 distance to target ratio allows you to measure the temperature of a 1” diameter circle from 5 inches away or a 2” diameter circle from 10 inches away when in surface mode.
• The backlit LCD display is easy to read in all lighting conditions. Backlight will turn red when an alert temperature is reached.
