Rated 2 out of 5 by from Defective Levis!!! What is this world coming to? I'm an old guy that's worn 505's most of his adult life. I ordered 2 pair online because my local store does not carry a 36 inseam in my waist size. I was shocked when I put on the last pair purchased and found the outside seam of the right leg sewn crooked by a couple of inches. The right leg twisted about 1/8 turn counter clockwise from top to bottom. It shook my faith in mankind to its very core. If we can't get a simple pair of Levis right, how will we ever achieve world peace and stop global warming? My local Kohl's was, as expected, easy to work with in getting an exchange.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great style and fit, quality is going down. I have worn Levi's 505's (stonewash) for the better part of my adult life. I have always loved their style and fit, and the size selections available. And up until recently, they were made to last a very long time. But for the past year, it seems their quality has taken a nosedive - the material has lost its durability and it tears quite easily. This usually first happens at the beltloops where they are stitched to the jeans (usually the lower point), which then tear right through the fabric leaving a hole. There you have it. I may have to search for an alternative after all these years.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Same Jeans, Different Fabric Levi's jeans are just good jeans in general. But it is weird that I ordered 3 different colors on the same Kohls webpage stating they were 505 jeans but one pair is very thin jean material and the others are not. That would be my only negative. Not sure why the difference in material if you are ordering from the same page on Kohls. My husband like all three but they are different in weight for sure so beware of that.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from NOT the original 505's ! Why the changes ? I bought my 1st pair of Levi's in 1953 and have worn only Levi's since. I switched to 505's because I liked the zipper. They are the only pants I wear; period ! Just bought 2 new pair of 505 regular, rigid. Listed below are the changes I do not like. 1. Only 5 belt loops (for 63 years there were 7) 2. The front pockets are not as deep. 3. Somehow the legs are not the same ? I have always ironed a crease in the legs by folding the leg with the seams together, and ironing them. Did this to my new ones, put them on and the crease is NOT straight down the front of your leg. Very unhappy that you say they are the same as 1967, because they are NOT.
