Rated 5 out of 5 by from Multi-purpose toy Bought in 2005 for g'daughter, she used basically for creating necklaces. Grandson now enjoying the bead set - he likes to classify, separate, arrange, and stack the beads... and also uses them as vehicles on his 'city on the carpet'.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great toy Melissa and Doug have a great collection of toys that fall in the "traditional" line--things I remember my kids playing with and enjoying for hours. Lacing beads are a great way to improve hand/eye coordination and fine motor skills--teaching them to use those little fingers! My 2 year old granddaughter loved the bright colors on the beads and was able to make herself a necklace in no time. A toy she will play with again and again!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A good toy for a three-year old My grandson had alot of fun with this toy. Not only does he use the toy to try and lace the beads but also used the round shapes to build. I like buying Melissa and Doug products because I feel that not only does my grandson enjoy them, but they they are well built for little hands.
