Rated 5 out of 5 by from I have 6QT and 8QT I have used stove top pressure cookers for decades. I find the idea of the corded counter top Insta pot helpful. This would be especially helpful for people at a camp or traveling with no stove access or even a student. They were out of the 8QT and a got the 6QT. I then found the 8QT in the store. I decided to keep both. Last night I made the meat in the larger one and the veggies in the other. If I had to buy only one I would get the 8QT as much more room to cook more food at one time. I know a lot of people who are plant based that have more than one for rice or beans. Good product!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Slow cooker function doesn’t work. No customer ser Three times I have attempted to use the slow cooker setting and each time the appliance failed to get warm enough to cook the food at any of the three temperature settings. The Keep Warm light also comes on when the slow cooker setting is pressed. Suspect that setting is operating rather than the slow cooker setting. Customer support is nonexistent. I filled out a support ticket at the Instapot website. After four days, no response from the company.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not as pictured Every recipe I've tried so far or read says manual setting and how long. The picture shows that there is a manual setting but when I got mine home and out of the box the manual setting is replaced with delayed start. The instruction manual doesn't indicate what would be considered manual on this. Very frustrated that what is pictured and what was received do not match. I tried pressure cook thinking maybe that was the same as manual but every time we've used it, it pressurizes, gives us burn message and then starts so clearly it is different than the manual setting. Disappointed

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I love the Instant-Pot I have used the Instant-Pot for six different meals -- from main courses to desserts. The cooking is fast & the meals taste good. One suggestion I have is that the manufacturer should include several of the silicon gaskets for different types of meals -- only one is included now. The combination of strong flavored items (onions, garlic, etc) & pressure cooking embeds these flavors in the gasket. This embedded flavor ends up in your next meal. No amount of cleaning, soaking, or hints from the Internet could remove the taste or smell from the gasket. The solution is to buy extra gaskets & switch depending on what you are cooking. Problem solved.
