Rated 3 out of 5 by from Very specific fit I had high hopes for these khaki pants for my skinny almost 8 yr old boy. Unfortunately they just don't fit him well. I tried an 8 slim. The legs are super skinny, even for a boy who is himself skinny. The waist has some stretch to it, which would be great if the pants were snug in the waist, but for a skinny boy, it doesn't work. There is no button system to tighten the waist. The color is a decent khaki and the weight of the pants is nice. They seem durable, just not the right fit for my boy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from no adjustable waistband These pants look like great quality, nice soft material too, but we had to return them because the boys are just so slim and these did not have the adjustable elastics in the waist to shrink them down for us. bummed

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not for muscular kids needing husky size My 13 year old has a very thick, muscular build. We have always depended on Urban Pipeline khakis for his dress code pants for school. Their husky cut was perfect for his body shape. Other brand husky sizes were too baggy and seemed to be cut for a less athletic build. I was skeptical when I came back to buy new pants for this school year and saw that the only option was a skinny cut in husky sizes. What a contradiction. I gave it a shot and ordered 4 pair of 18H for a 5'4 155lb solid kid with tree trunks for legs. While they fit him, he said they are horribly uncomfortable and can't imagine wearing them all day. They are tight on the legs as you would expect "skinny" jeans to be but they also bunch up really weird behind the knees. I really wish Kohls offered the same cut they had last year. If you have a big, athletic kid, skip these. On to men's sizes we go.
