Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not for muscular kids needing husky size My 13 year old has a very thick, muscular build. We have always depended on Urban Pipeline khakis for his dress code pants for school. Their husky cut was perfect for his body shape. Other brand husky sizes were too baggy and seemed to be cut for a less athletic build. I was skeptical when I came back to buy new pants for this school year and saw that the only option was a skinny cut in husky sizes. What a contradiction. I gave it a shot and ordered 4 pair of 18H for a 5'4 155lb solid kid with tree trunks for legs. While they fit him, he said they are horribly uncomfortable and can't imagine wearing them all day. They are tight on the legs as you would expect "skinny" jeans to be but they also bunch up really weird behind the knees. I really wish Kohls offered the same cut they had last year. If you have a big, athletic kid, skip these. On to men's sizes we go.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Very specific fit I had high hopes for these khaki pants for my skinny almost 8 yr old boy. Unfortunately they just don't fit him well. I tried an 8 slim. The legs are super skinny, even for a boy who is himself skinny. The waist has some stretch to it, which would be great if the pants were snug in the waist, but for a skinny boy, it doesn't work. There is no button system to tighten the waist. The color is a decent khaki and the weight of the pants is nice. They seem durable, just not the right fit for my boy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My son loves the fit My son wasn't looking forward to wearing a uniform for the first time, but now loves and lives in these pants. He won't take them off after school and wants to wear them on the weekend. In his words, they're more comfortable than jeans and sweats. The color is a little sharper than other pants suitable for uniform wear, which drew compliments from his teachers and approval from me - light colors and pre-teen boys are a rough combination, laudry-wise. They're easy to launder, don't wrinkle easily and seem durable. We bought several pair of these and other brands to see which he preferred, but the other brands haven't been worn after two weeks of school. Regarding fit - I bought a size larger than my son's normal size and opted for slim cut. These fit him now with little room for growth, so I'd recommend trying a size larger than normal in the slim cut style. Overall, I'd definitely recommend these pants.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fourteen Year Old Grandson Loves These My grandson will give up style for comfort, so it's a good thing these pants offer both! I bought him two pair and now I will go back and get him another.
