Rated 4 out of 5 by from The shorts underneath the skirt are a problem Shorts underneath a skort have always been made out of the same material as the Skirt it's self. For some reason they have chose to use soft white underwear material. That should be changed back immediately! Now if someone looks underneath your short skirt it looks like they're looking at our underwear. Skorts are meant to be worn short like a tennis skirt. Please please please change this back as I buy multiple skorts every year. I average between a size 4 and six and I buy these because they look much nicer than wearing shorts... you can dress them up for casual evening where or dressed Them down to do your gardening. Thank you and I really hope they change this back and bring many more colors !

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Croft & Barrow has dropped the ball this season. I have been a loyal Croft & Barrow twill skort buyer for several years. I have bought practically every color option available. However, this year I am very disappointed with their product. I purchased two of the twill skorts. The skirt was made of twill and the shorts are made of a knit fabric. The shorts kept riding up because they aren't heavy enough. Croft & Barrow needs to rethink their design and bring back the skirt/short in the same material and fabric print. The whole point of a skort is that if the skirt rides up, the short makes it look seamless. I will be returning these items I bought and hope that next year, they will rethink their design.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not the same as before I've purchased these skirts many times before. Needed a different size and ordered several new ones. The lower seam on these skirts are about 1/2 inch vs 1 inch on my old ones. They now do not lay flat once washed so will require ironing every time they are washed. I've never had to iron with my other skirts. Disappointing. Yes, the short portion rides up but having the flipped up lower seam is more of an issue for me. Quality is just not the same. Also the waist bands varied widely with the 5 skirts I ordered. Over 1 1/2 inches. Too bad

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great skort, but a little different this year I love these skorts and buy at least one each year because of the pretty print fabrics. This year they made a couple of changes. The skorts now have a nylon zipper, instead of metal -- best change ever! The skorts used to have nylon zippers years ago and then they changed to a chunky, hard to zip, metal zipper. The other change is the shorts. The short under the skirt used to be a plain cotton, generally a bit lighter weight than the skirt. Now, the short underneath is a lightweight knit. That might be good for modesty as the knit will stay closer to your skin, but the knit might be too clingy in really hot weather. It's not warm enough yet for me to test them out.
