Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not wide enough I really liked the shoes but the 'wides' were too narrow. I have other Nike's in 9W that fit great but, unfortunately, these were tight. I actually ordered these shoes twice as the first time they arrived the label on the underside of the tongue was not labelled "9 W" like my other Nikes are. They only said "9." So I reordered, assuming that I had been sent a medium width rather than a wide width. Unfortunately, the second pair were labelled the same way and were still too tight.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Roomy toe box, good mid-foot support Pros: - Roomy toe box, yet snug supportive mid-foot section. This is nearly impossible to find, and the shoe deserves 5 stars for it. It is why I kept it and worked out some modifications. - All black color available; great for work, without looking like an athletic shoe. - Comfortable for all day wear (see below for modifications) Cons: - Heel is set very low in the shoe. It feels lower than the front, almost like the old "earth shoes." I had to cut 2-3 pieces of a foam insole to bring it up. - Insole is made of the kind of memory foam that feels good in the store, but takes an imprint of your foot after a day's wear. It then no longer provides support. Your foot just lands on the imprint. I had to remove the insole and put in a foam insole. - Removing the insole makes the shoe MUCH bigger. I wear an 8, sometimes an 8.5, but never a 7.5. I had to reorder in a 7.5 as the shoe was just too big with even 2 foam insoles, plus the built up inner heel. I also think this shoe stretched after a week's wear, so that might be part of the problem. - I selected this shoe as the sole looked and felt like it was fairly straight. Most athletic shoes, especially Nike, have that pigeon-toed or kidney bean sole shape, and my foot fights that shape. The insole on this shoe is shaped in a curved (pigeon toed) shape, even though the outer sole does not appear that way. That means the inner shoe likewise has that shape. The toe of the shoe is roomy enough that my foot doesn't fight it, but the curved shape does take the comfort down a notch. I will continue to search for something that's good right out of the box, but for now, these are working, and I would consider a back up pair. Also, if readers are on the fence about Medium vs. Wide, I'd suggest trying the Medium first. These are roomy enough in the toe without sacrificing heel or mid-foot fit, and they do seem to stretch a bit with wear.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing! These Nike's are my most favorite pair of athletic shoes that I have ever purchased! The comfort liner is great and makes these so comfortable. I got all black and I love that they match every workout outfit I have.
