Rated 1 out of 5 by from These levis are too long and don't wear well! I've worn Levis for 50 years years. 501's and 517's have always been my favorites. I recently ordered 2 pair of 517's in my normal 30" length. They're way long! I measured them and they are 33" in length! Levi's haven't been the same, ever since they began outsourcing them to other countries. They don't wear well, the sizes vary from pair to pair. They're thinner and built cheaper than they used to be. The price keeps going sky high while the quality and consistancy is taking a dive. Levi has lost their quality control! I've began buying other brands that wear well and are consistant in their fit.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice blue jeans Thighs are cut too slim, need to have shorter inseams available. I have large, athletic thighs, and I am of short stature. I have to purchase a waist size about 4 sizes too large in order to have them fit my thighs comfortably. Also, I wear a 29 inseam. I have to spend an additional 4 days and 16 dollars at the local tailor to have them hemmed to my length. No bueno. Thighs should be cut just a little bit fuller, and shorter inseams should be made available, as there are a lot of short-statured adults out there who are disappointed that they have to spend additional money to have their jeans shortened.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed Purchased a pair of 517s awhile back. Only jean I wore for 40 years. Size was off which I am willing to work around but most disappointed with the elimination of two belt loops. Decided to check back to see if they had reversed the decision. Looks like only five belt loops are still standard. "Every Garment Guaranteed" used to be printed on every belt label and the denim was much thicker. Unfortunately, todays 517s seem to be made more for style and profit and less for durability and ruggedness than the 517s of years ago.
