It does the job
It does the job, but is not convenient .
I gave it 2 stars for the following flows:
- it is very heavy
- it is very long (15 inch) and does not fit on any of my cabinet drawers or shelves. It has to be disassembled and stored as 2 parts. Every time before use I'd need to connect two parts together again.

Used for soapmaking
Only used it once so far to make castile soap. Worked really well. As for soap making, I had to use it for a long time so it got very very hot. Did a good job though, no complaints. Good design.

Great value
I bought this with the attempt to make homemade sauces, mayo etc. this is actually not strong enough. So I used it to make homemade soap instead.

Works well!
I have used the hand blender twice now and have been happy with the end results both times. I did notice that it requires extra liquid in some things in order to make it blend everything smoothly. I loved making refried beans right in my pot and it didn't get scratched!
