Rated 3 out of 5 by from Average The curtains are fairly good at blocking light, but the claims of reducing noise are a bit overstated. They block noise only as much as putting any extra layer over your windows would, such as hanging a blanket. Very common looking, fine for a bedroom, but you would definitely want something dressier for a living room.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Room Darkening The color is darker than shown online but they definitely are room darkening. Blocks out cold air and reduces outside noise.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pleased with purchase Got both the blue and the tan colors. Curtain does need to be ironed before hanging up, but definitely works as a blackout (blue definitely, haven't hung the tan yet). Fabric feels like it will provide some thermal benefits as well. Purchased for full southern exposure windows as I was looking to block sun in summer and thermal benefits in winter.
