Rated 1 out of 5 by from What is it about the left rear belt loop? I've been a loyal Levi's customer since elementary school. In my mind they were the only real jeans for 40+ years. In the last 10 years or so, it seems that there is something about the left rear belt loop. At first they started popping loose at the bottom after ~6 months or so. My most recent 4 pairs started letting go in the 1st month. I've currently got 15-20 pairs of 505s that that are fine, except either the left rear, or left and right rear belt loops have blown out. I guess I'll go try some of those Wrangler jeans that I used to look down on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from cash color is stretchy and lightweight My husband has worn 505 jeans for work for at least 30 years. Recently, we have discovered how much different each "color" is in terms of fabric. If you are looking for a stretchy jean (something he would not have worn 30 years ago, but definitely wants them now), this is the one. He says that the waistband even has a bit of stretch in it, and he can bend and move in all directions without pinching or having them slide down. He also likes that they are more lightweight than some of the other 505s. It all depends on what you are looking for. I ordered 6 pairs of various colors for him, and I have to return the other 5. This is what he was looking for.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Husband actually said “Wow” My husband (late 50’s) usually wears this style of Levi’s and needed some new pairs. I got 2 different colors in his usual size at first to see how they worked. He loved the fit, thought the little bit of stretch was very comfortable. I really liked them on him, they seem a little more form fitting (not so baggy in the butt area). The material seems sturdier. Have only washed them once, but they washed well. They are sort of pricey, but with sales, they are worth it. I have two more pair on order now. These should last him awhile.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from NOT the original 505's ! Why the changes ? I bought my 1st pair of Levi's in 1953 and have worn only Levi's since. I switched to 505's because I liked the zipper. They are the only pants I wear; period ! Just bought 2 new pair of 505 regular, rigid. Listed below are the changes I do not like. 1. Only 5 belt loops (for 63 years there were 7) 2. The front pockets are not as deep. 3. Somehow the legs are not the same ? I have always ironed a crease in the legs by folding the leg with the seams together, and ironing them. Did this to my new ones, put them on and the crease is NOT straight down the front of your leg. Very unhappy that you say they are the same as 1967, because they are NOT.
