Rated 1 out of 5 by from Absolutely horrible I bought this because I wanted to spiralize vegetables for salads and also because I like to slice apples for pie and for dried apples. Horrible! It seems the blades aren't sharp at all - the vegetables turn to mush and it was not able to peel or slice the apples. Completely useless waste of money. I've gone back to using an apple peeler/slicer that I turn by hand and to slicing zucchini etc. on a mandolin and then cutting into noodles. Very very disappointed, and I'm not sure that I trust any of the other kitchen aid attachments after this bad experience. I would give negative stars if I could.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! My KitchenAid is not just for baking anymore! After wasting money on other gadgets, one after another looking for a better working product, I caved and bought this spiralizer. It's the one I wanted from the start but I had to waste money on cheesy plastic hand crank ones before I realized this one was worth the money. Easy to use, even on carrots which were difficult in any other spiralizer. So easy to install - I was surprised it didn't take much effort or time to read directions. Can't wait to use it on salads, dinners, and so much more. My kitchen aid isn't just for baking anymore.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Makes Healthy Meals a Snap I have had this attachment for quite sometime. It makes putting together a healthy meal quick and easy- you can have sweet potato curly fries, zucchini noodles, or carrot spirals in a snap. I have tried several recipes with different veggies noodles and all of them were a hit. It also makes peeling and coring apples for pie less of a chore. It does have quite a few parts, which can get annoying when you are first learning to put it together, but after a few uses, you'll be a pro. You do have to pay attention when selecting your vegetables, since there are suggested sizes when using the attachments. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Doesn't work like it should I received this as a Christmas gift and couldn't wait to try it out. I tried beets first- the peeler attachment didn't reach all the way to the beets and it only spiralized about half the beet before the blade was at the end of the rod. I double checked the directions and watched the online videos to make sure I was using it correctly and tried again. Butternut squash and zucchini just ended up with holes in the back and would not spin. I ended up manually turning them against the blade to get my spirals. Way too much work for what I ended up with. Back to my cheap plastic manual spiralizer.
