Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing customer service!! I accidentally put the skewer to my spirializer in the garbage disposer. I contacted KitchenAid to get a replacement and they offered to send me one free of charge. Unfortunately it was back ordered, so a few weeks later I called back to see if there was an expected date of arrival, but there was no estimated date. The woman on the phone did not hesitate and offered to send me a completely new spirializer free of charge! I was absolutely amazed that this company was willing to replace the entire set for my mistake. I'm a KitchenAid customer for life!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Super efficient but a little short I received this for my birthday last month to replace a hand crank version that worked ok but took forever. This spiralizer is awesome! It works so fast and efficiently for creating zucchini and carrot noodles. I only wish it was a little longer to accommodate the average zucchini and carrot without having to cut them in half first. I have yet to use the peeler or apple slicer but have high hopes that those pieces will perform as well as the noodle slicer. Also, it is loud just because the mixer motor is loud but luckily it is efficient and fast! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 1 out of 5 by from flimsy parts Concept is great - execution is lousy. The pin that holds/drives the skewer stripped on the first potato, rending the whole attachment useless. Furthermore, repeated inquiries to KitchenAid resulted in incorrect responses (several referrals to sites providing the skewer itself, NOT the problem) or no response at all. Softer centered vegetables like zucchini do not hold on the skewer (which turns the core to a squishy mess). I'm still awaiting resolution.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy to use but needs a second skewer for larger veggies The KitchenAid spiralizer attachment is easy to use and clean. It takes just seconds to turn veggies into noodles, which can then be used as a pasta substitute, in salads, as spiral fries, etc. The peeler, slicer, and spiralizer work very well for lighter and smaller items. Some people complain that spiralizing leaves a core, but I just chop it up and use it - I don't mind a couple strangely shaped noodles/slices in my dishes. One big drawback - and I think it may be an easy fix: KitchenAid needs to supply or make available a larger skewer for things like squash and sweet potatoes. The existing skewer can't hold these bigger items in place, which means the item slips and turns rather than remaining in place. Then it can't be sliced/spiralized. I've found that really pushing the skewer in tight helps, as does using the smaller end of the item (if one exists), but neither alleviates the problem. KitchenAid should NOT get rid of the smaller skewer as it's needed for carrots, summer squashes, etc. Instead, make it as a purchasable add-on to the existing sets. I think the skewer itself is fine, but the plastic part with tines that hold the vegetable into place should be larger. Thanks!
