Rated 5 out of 5 by from no bells and whistles, just great coffee! Love this non-electric, non-digital, non-programmable, non-LED little coffee percolator! Have used it for 5 years. Perfect pot of coffee every morning. Hubby brews about 48 ozs each morning, but he could make more. Coffee is very hot; no grounds in bottom of my mug, even when we use those designer fresh ground beans. When pot was new I did replace the plastic knob with a glass one. The plastic knob discolors from the coffee after awhile. The glass knobs are readily available online, and they are very inexpensive. Bonus....I think the vintage style of this coffee pot is so cute that I leave it on my stovetop permanently. Has brought many comments from visitors asking where I found it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great backup. Good coffee I bought this perculator as a non electric backup. Last year we were without power for several weeks on the east coast, however I have a propane gas range in my kitchen, so still able to cook. I wish I had this coffee pot then. Turns out I like the coffee better than my usual drip maker! Brews hot and flavorful. Farberware makes a good product. This is a little pricey for what it is, but im going to keep it as backup in case of another winter storm. It comes in handy if you are a camper & have a camping stove on hand. We got to have our hot coffee dont we? :)

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Good coffee. Worst quality and design I bought this coffee maker almost 2 years ago thinking it would last for long time. Disappointed. After a couple of months, the plastic top knob broke. It is made of cheap plastic that brakes easily after open the super tight percolator lid. I managed to replace it with a glass knob that you get online with a metal rim (not like the original plastic rim). BUT today, the cheap plastic handle broke. It is a poor design. I was thinking to replace the handle but I discovered that the metal where you screw the handle is also broken. A broken metal???? Please, quality and design. How are you suppose to lift a heavy pot with such a weak metal that supports a plastic handle????
