Great fan.
Lasko makes the best fans on the market. I have three of this style fan, and they are great at cooling a very large area. I have tried other, more expensive fans (Honeywell, for one) and I could have moved more air by waving an envelope. Will not purchase any other fans than Lasko in the future,

Powerful fan for sure
My only criticism is the noise level on the 3rd setting..but other than that it's great!!

Dead out of the box
Got this during the freak hot spell and it was dead out of the box. Thankfully Kohls issued me a refund so I could get another fan but I found working with Lasko to be a nightmare and won't buy from them again.
The fan itself is all plastic and very cheap compared to the metal one it was replacing. The base is huge and takes up a ton of room. The remote is a tiny little thing with a bad design. Even looking at it you can't really tell what button controls what. And be prepared to lose it because you will. They do give you some velcro to attach it to the fan but what good does that do if you are constantly using it?
It probably does what it's supposed to, blow air. I can't tell you how well it does that since it never worked.

The remote control is fantastic!
I never thought I would use the remote control on this but it is awesome to be able to just reach over to my nightstand in the middle of the night, grab the remote, point and click! I don't have to get up and possibly wake myself up too much to turn it on.
At first the sound of the low setting took a bit to get used to. I thought maybe I hit high by accident. But now it's a great white noise for me and I can't live without it.
