Rated 2 out of 5 by from Twisted leg seam--again! I love Levis, but every 3rd pair I buy have the "barber pole" defect; the outside leg seam twists around and ends up at the front of the leg instead of running down the side. If they've been making jeans for 150 years why can't they solve this problem?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from bad fit here is the deal, my husband has worn this style of levis for 30plus years. the new ones we ordered are 1/2 inch shorter in the crotch area which makes them uncomfortable to wear. its not because he has put on weight he is still the same weight and height he has always been.( which I hate him for). being said this may not be the case for you. we have always had very good luck with levis. the return was a piece of cake. we hope to be able to find a product that will be comparable to this style of Levi.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Wildly inconsistent sizing I really prefer Levis, but it drives me crazy that I can't just pick up my size and assume they'll fit. Sometimes huge, sometimes tight. I wish I could select 'all of the above' for fit. Great feeling when you get the pair that's just right, but it takes a lot of effort. Makes it really hard to buy online or in stores where you can't try them on. I just bought two pair (online). One fits great in the waist, but a little short in the legs. The other is at least 2 inches bigger in the waist and length. Both marked the same size. One other little peeve. I would prefer 7 belt loops, but if you're only going to do 5, why not distribute them more evenly rather than having the front two 4 inches apart?

Rated 3 out of 5 by from jeans are inconsistent on size fitting. please go to stores to try each and every pair of levis 505 jeans.I started having to do this two years ago.Levis makes jeans in many foreign countries and sizing is inconsistent.I had no issues when the jeans were made in the United States.I tried talking to customer service,no help on sizing problems.I may have to go back to Wranglers(wore 40 years back).
