Rated 2 out of 5 by from Warps easily. Only intended for light use. Although the concept of this product is great, they do NOT hold up well. I bought these splash cards for my 3 year old. She loves playing with them and discovering the pictures that appear BUT the actual card is made of a thick cardstock/cardboard material and warps easily.. A little disappointed in this product. Considering returning it because she really cant use it but maybe one or two more times. I'd rather buy regular flash cards.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Our preschooler classroom loves these I bought these and the 3 pack that comes with letters, numbers and animals in spiral book form. Each comes with its own 'pen' that you put water in. The 34 kids in our preschool can't get enough of them and we have to take turns passing them back and forth. The water makes the white film over the picture "vanish" and it is revealed in brilliant color. Takes about 10 minutes to dry and they can do the picture and letter/number again. It is like magic for them. The only downside is that a few of the pictures have somehow gotten scratched but considering how much they have been used it is not a big deal.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Warped They're cute and work well, but the cards are made out of a carboard material and when you flip them over the water from one card gets on the back. My kids been playing with them on and off for an hour (yay!) but the cards are already warped.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for early learners! I bought these as a stocking stuffer for my 2 1/2-year-old, but when they arrived, I could not wait until Christmas to give them to her. She spent a solid half hour coloring one letter at a time, then running to me to show me the picture, name the letter, and find out what sound it made. The pictures dry quickly. Most were ready for a second use within 5-10 minutes of coloring -- a good thing as her big sister was waiting none too patiently to try her hand at "painting" with water. The cards are big enough for little hands to manipulate with ease, but small enough (and sturdy enough) to fit easily in a purse or diaper bag. I'll probably give our girls a few days to enjoy the new set as much as they want, then move them over to our out-and-about activity bag. Paired with a Leapfrog Letter Factory DVD, these would make a fun, educational, and inexpensive gift for any pre-reader.
