I love this desk...
I bought this desk for my Apple computer. The top is large enough for my monitor, keyboard, Mac computer and router. It has a drawer for hanging files and two additional drawers. For me, it's perfect. The appearance looks like a far more expensive piece of furniture than it is. The assembly instructions were excellent. I made a coupe of errors during assembly (trust the instructions!), but I figured out my mistakes and it was easily remedied. I'm thrilled with the final product. It is very functional and looks great. The only shipping damage was a small chip out of the side panel. It was not easy to see and I covered up the chipped area with a black magic maker and it's undetectable. I highly recommend this product. By the way, it's my second desk by Sauder.

Great product!
I am very impressed. The assembled desk looks like a fine piece of solid furniture. Assembly required some time but the instructions were orderly, clear and concise. The fact that you segregate the various pieces of hardware to individual pouches was very helpful. You discouraged the "power trip" of using an electric drill, I assume so folks do not over tighten the screws. But, the pre-drilled holes are tight and by the end of the assembly process my palms were sore. Not complaining, though, the desk is a stylish addition to our den.

Nice Desk
This seems like a great desk. Just put it together, took about 2-3 hours. Not hard to assemble if you follow the instructions. One of the handles for the drawers was broken out of the package. No big deal though, just had to request a new one from the Sauder website.

Great Desk - Worth the Assembly
This desk is a solid piece of furniture that is the perfect size and color to be used as a student/family desk in our family room.The assembly is straight forward, parts are well labeled, but you must do this with patience. I did it alone and in my case the large bottom drawer did not fully align during assembly - not a problem...just line up the back 2 holes and drill where necessary for the front holes. Once this was done it aligned and worked perfectly. You won't be disappointed by this purchase; just be prepared to commit a 1/2 day to get to a great finished product.
