Rated 1 out of 5 by from Levi's should be made of cotton denim! I have worn women's Levi's for over 20 years, and usually have to order them online to get the tall or long 34" inseam. Kohl's advertises this color as being made from cotton/lycra but they are 60% cotton, 23% viscose, 16% polyester, and 1% elastane. These pants are huge and they fit like a pair of stretch pants. Why would anyone want polyester in their jeans? And if you look up "viscose" you will find that it is chemically treated wood pulp! I wish that Levi's would go back to making their jeans out of 99% cotton and 1% elastane. And I would appreciate it if all retailers listed the fabric content correctly!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Cheap material I spend a lot on Levi jeans due to the rugged quality of the material, but surprise... They replaced the good jean fabric with more stretch denim. My 505s that used to fit now are too big at my waist, the stretchy fabric keeps pulling down when I move (let alone walk), and after only 2 wear/wash cycles are developing holes in the inner thigh. I'm tired of paying top dollar for jeans that are unwearable after a short (less than a month) period.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not what I thought I purchased a pair of Levi 505's at the store and liked them. A few days later, I decided to order a pair of 505's , same type, in black on line and the fit wasn't the same . The item in black is not as stretchy or, soft and the waist it totally different. I would recommend purchasing at the store and avoid shipping cost.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not your mom jeans!! I bought these newer version 505's recently. I really like the stretchy fabric but miss the front panel holding my stomach in a bit more. I bought 2 dark blue and 1 black. The black is a totally different fit and I thought I gained a few pounds in my sleep. The did tend to relax a bit after a while. For me, a 5'4" 57 year old woman, they tend to drag on the ground when wearing a low heel or hiking boot. While this is a bit irritating, I would rather have them longer than not...I have the option to adjust my shoes/boots not the length of my legs. I do plan on buying a few more pairs but in the lighter blues. One other benefit for me is I have lower back problems and the softer more flexible fabric is so back-friendly for me.
