Rated 2 out of 5 by from disappointed in the change in material I purchased these to replace my 505s that had served me faithfully for many years. When they arrived it was obvious from the feel that they were not as they once were. Instead of being 99% cotton and 1% elastane, they are 68% cotton, 23% polyester, 8% viscose, and 1% elastane. The jeans feel thin and are perpetually saggy in the thighs and front. While this blend allows for great range of motion, they are not holding up well to dog or cat claws, or outdoor activities that expose them to brambles, rough ground, or bark. They look good and hold their (albeit slightly saggy) shape but apparently are just meant to look pretty without the functionality I have come to expect from this brand.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Levi's should be made of cotton denim! I have worn women's Levi's for over 20 years, and usually have to order them online to get the tall or long 34" inseam. Kohl's advertises this color as being made from cotton/lycra but they are 60% cotton, 23% viscose, 16% polyester, and 1% elastane. These pants are huge and they fit like a pair of stretch pants. Why would anyone want polyester in their jeans? And if you look up "viscose" you will find that it is chemically treated wood pulp! I wish that Levi's would go back to making their jeans out of 99% cotton and 1% elastane. And I would appreciate it if all retailers listed the fabric content correctly!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not the same Dear Levi's.... I rarely do reviews and I am rarely negative .... but... What happened? I am finding that the 505 short are way too long by 2-3 inches(I am 5'3)... If I am lucky to find petite they are too short... The crotch hangs... Material is too stretchy and I am forever pulling my jeans up .... It seems that straight leg is now more like the "elephant leg" that was popular in the 70's... Also, not every person out here wants to wear "skinny jeans". Sorry, I love you but I may have to find another brand.....

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Cheap material I spend a lot on Levi jeans due to the rugged quality of the material, but surprise... They replaced the good jean fabric with more stretch denim. My 505s that used to fit now are too big at my waist, the stretchy fabric keeps pulling down when I move (let alone walk), and after only 2 wear/wash cycles are developing holes in the inner thigh. I'm tired of paying top dollar for jeans that are unwearable after a short (less than a month) period.
