Rated 3 out of 5 by from Excellent watch, but difficult to read. I'm a huge fan of Citizen Eco Drive watches. They never need a battery, and they can be immersed in complete darkness for several months without loosing a charge. These watches are extremely high quality at a great price. Unfortunately this watch is very difficult to read. The dark watch face, the dark numbers, and watch hands make it impossible to read unless you have plenty of light. I like the style, and I like the black nylon band (very comfortable). I've just purchased the same watch except with a lighter watch face, brighter numbers, and brighter watch hands.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Bad Crystal I got the watch as a bday present from my wife. I have always thought Citizen was a premier brand and have always been happy with the ones I have owned. Not so with this one. Shortly after I started wearing it I noticed a small chip in the crystal. I was amazed and very disappointed being that I had done nothing to chip it. I only wore it when I dressed up. I returned it to the store and received another one just like it. The second one developed a chip in the same spot on the crystal as first with the same kind of wear. The store would not refund my money and I have to wait for the second watch to be repaired.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sturdy watch One of the first heavy activities I did with this watch was body surf the Wedge. The watch held up great! Only down side is that sand gets stuck between the glass and metal rim. It comes out though. Also the band can get a bit smelly after long use. Soaking it in soap or something can help, but it's not a permanent fix. Love the tactical look of the watch and that I can surf, dive, and even wear it with a suit. It's versatile and clean. Not a big fan of super bulky watches and this one is perfect size. Not too small either. I've also banged this thing on multiple door ways, walls, etc. and it doesn't scuff very easily. Might need to replace the pins though as mine seem a bit bent. Cheers! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Way, way too dark dial hands I should have listened to the other reviews. The dial hands and background color are almost identical, making viewing the time exceedingly difficult, even for 20-year old eyes (my son's). I bought it thinking he'd think it was cool/fashionable but the lack of reading ease made this an impossible watch. Excellent idea with the charge by light but not realistic with the current color scheme.
