An authorized user is someone you add to your account without any additional application or credit check. They’ll get a card with their name on it and share your line of credit. An authorized user can make purchases on the account. Although not legally responsible for payment, credit history of the account will be reported to the authorized users’ credit bureau. As the primary cardholder, you will be responsible for any charge made on the account. An authorized user cannot make any changes to the account. General information will be shared with the authorized user if certain account information is verified.
