How to Choose Women's Perfume

When you're shopping for a new fragrance you may notice a bunch of French words at the bottom of your bottle: eau de toilette, Eau de Parfum, Parfum, Eau Fraiche—the list goes on. You might have wondered what these mean. Well, colognes and perfumes consist of perfume essence (essential oils, extracts, etc.), alcohol and water. The difference between the types of fragrance depends on the concentration of perfume used in the scent. The names of each perfume type can give you clues to the concentration of perfume in the fragrance.
4. Test a Few Perfumes Out
Finding your signature scent is like building a wardrobe. You should have a scent that expresses your unique style for the season or occasion. This gives you a canvas of fragrances to choose from. You can do a few simple tests to make sure that it's a scent you will enjoy. You can do a simple sniff test of the bottle or try a sample of the fragrance on your skin.
