Are Candles in Jars Safe?

Glass jar candles are safe because the glass acts as a barrier between the open flame and potentially flammable objects. Just make sure to keep jarred candles at least one foot away from any piece of furniture, curtains, and other items that could potentially catch fire. Only burn candles in rooms with great ventilation, but avoid direct drafts on the candles. And as always, be sure to extinguish a candle before leaving a room, leaving the house, or going to sleep.

How Long Do Jar Candles Last?

Each candle provides hours of fragrance, so you’ll have plenty of time to enjoy each scent you choose. Some small 14-oz candles last as little as 40-50 hours while 16-oz. candles burn up to 50 hours and larger 22-oz. candles can burn up to a total of 150 hours. Crafted with various scent combinations, these scented candles create a unique fragrance experience as the layers melt together.
