Rated 5 out of 5 by A must have for every child. We purchased this for my grandchild for Christmas when he was nineteen months old and yes I know the age group is five. It instantly became his favorite puzzle as his granddaddy patiently helped him with it. We have videos of him at twenty months putting each piece in its place. We could hand him one randomly and he put it in its place without hesitation. Guests would watch with astonishment. We have many of these puzzles and I can't praise them enough. I wish the stores would carry more of them, however, I am happy that I found them here. Happy learning and thank you so much Melissa and Doug! God bless. 09/01/2009

Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent way to learn the states and capitols When I was in 2nd grade, my teacher had a similar puzzle in her classroom. We used it as a learning aide and it helped all of us learn our states and capitols. For years I LOVED being able to rattle them all off. My 7 year old grandson LOVED this puzzle. He has amazed to learn Colorado was much more south that he thought. He then would count the states between where he lives and where other friends and family live. He played with this daily for the ten days during Christmas vacation. 01/05/2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Incredibly inaccurate and uneducated If you're purchasing this just for a "fun" puzzle then go ahead, but if you're purchasing as I was as an educational toy don't waste your time because you will return. All states east of Illinois and north of Georgia are so incredibly not the correct shape it's pitiful. You would truly be teaching your children wrong with this puzzle. I wanted to like this so bad because a puzzle similar taught me so much when was a child but this is such a bad representation of the USA. 01/06/2016
