I used this luggage set over the summer on my trip to NY. It was fine on the way over, and sat in my cabin the entire summer. However, when I went to go home, the craziness between train and cab rides, my handle literally broke off. I was forced to drag it up the stairs of the train station and had to frequently apologize to everyone around me for causing such trouble. It was a huge hassle and for something that had barely been used should not have happened. Did I stuff it? Sure. The weight was around 51 or 52 pounds MAX due to airline guidelines. So if that's too much weight to bear⦠FORGET IT! Complete waste of money.

I liked the design, expandability, and ease of rolling --- until the second time I used it for a cross-country flight and one of the wheel assemblies came completely off the largest suitcase. Then I could not roll the bag through the airport without holding it straight up!!! It was a big hassle to man-handle that bag due to poor construction.
Suitcase manufacturers KNOW that airports are hard on luggage and key parts of the baggage such as handles, zippers and wheels should be well-constructed!
I would not recommend this manufacturer (Stanton Madison).

I was so happy with my new suitcases I gave my others to my daughter. I am packing for my first trip and picked up my suitcase to weigh it and the zippers just will not stay closed. The nylon zippers just separate. Good thing I was't already at the airport. I am borrowing back my old suitcases from my daughter and I will return theses new suitcases when we return. I am extremely dissapointed. Luckily my daughter is only 7 miles away. These are going back.

My daughter used the larger suitcase and after retrieving her suitcase at the baggage claim after her first flight, the handle was bent on the side and would not come up. She was going out of the country and still had a long way to go. The only advantage was that it had four wheels and she could push it - otherwise there is no way she could have carried it along with her other luggage. This will be going back for a refund.
