Disappointed in this "everything" pan. Gave it as a gift and it looks beautiful, but upon handling it, you can tell that Cuisinart really skimped on the weight of this pot. The bottom is heavier, which is good, but the sides feel so lightweight that a bump might dent them. Very disappointed and would not recommend. The clear lid is nice to see inside. Recipient of this gift liked it and is using it. If she comments that she finds it disappointing after using it for some reason, I am taking it back. The quality is just not their that Cuisinart used to be known for.

I have this pot for more than a year now. I like it but it does stain easily and if you are not careful like stirring often/keep heat low etc it will burn the food. I like to cook Indian dishes and that may be the reason , it does work well for sauces and boiling pasta. I will look for another brand for my next pot.

All of my kitchen electronics come from this company and I have always been more than pleased. However, if this pot is an example of the company's cookware, they should stick to electronics. After the first use, boiling potatoes in water, adding a pinch of salt after water boiled, the bottom of the pot shows what looks like black pits or marks. They cannot be removed with any cleaning product I have. Glad I didn't need a set of cookware...
