Rated 3 out of 5Â by Cpatte Very disappointed
I bought this iron to replace one that I had previously bought. The previous one just stopped working, I had to iron everything on high and the water leaked all over the board and the clothes. I plugged this one up and it looks like I'm going to have the same problem. Rowenta use to be one of the best irons in the world, but the last three that I've owned were worthless. Don't buy it, it's too expensive anyway.

Less than 2 months old and it stopped working. Have had other Rowenta irons, no problems. This one is a disappointment.

I have had Rowenta products for 10+years. After my last iron failed after many years of outstanding operation, I decided to purchast this top of the line Rowenta. I used the iron for about two months and it started to spray water out when in midrange steam mode. I contacted Rowenta and they want me to send it back for 4 to 6 weeks for evaluation. For the price of the iron to only work for 2 months this is not a good buy. The warranty is bogus as what do you do for 4 to 6 weeks but go purchase another iron so don't waste you money. The Rowenta quality is not what it used to be. Buy a cheaper iron and you can replace it 5 times for the price of this one. I will never buy another Rowenta product again.

If you're looking for an iron that provides amazing steam, is large and heavy this is the iron for you. If you don't like large irons this might not be the correct choice for you. I'm enjoying it, as much as one can enjoy ironing, and I think my ironing time has been reduced due to this product's steam and size. The only thing that I would change is the size of the reservoir. I have found it necessary to refill the reservoir after ironing 3 or 4 shirts/pants due to the steam. The steam is adjustable and I keep it on maximum steam. In summary, I'm pleased with my purchase.
