Rated 5 out of 5 by Great concept for children to learn coordination Two of my grandchildren ages 2 (boy and girl) enjoy playing with them. The handle of the wooden knife came off within the first few min. I just took duct tape and taped them together. 03/12/2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by M&D This, like all Melissa and Doug products, is a great learning toy. The pieces are large and sturdy and have very nice velcro between them. The wooden knife easily cuts through the velcro attachment. the pieces themselves are made from a great quality heavy wood and are painted. Overall the product is durable and has stood up to the baby chewing on them and the toddler throwing them. 02/16/2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by nice cutting feature My son loves playing with this food set. He loves cutting apart the pieces of food and putting them in the pots on the toy kitchen stove to cook a "real" meal. 02/16/2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Melissa & Doug products are always great. My daughters always request this brand for anything for their children when possible because they are safe, non-toxic and durable. I purchased granddaughter to go with her new kitchen set up, but they are continually being played with by her 4 other siblings who range in age from 18 mo to 5 years. They easily caught on to slicing the vegetables and fruits... mimicking what they've seen Mommy doing as she prepares meals for them. I would definitely recommend these. 12/31/2014
