Rated 1 out of 5Â by XYX123 NOT the original 501 jeans
Do not make the same mistake I did. Obviously 501 original fit jeans are not the same as the original 501 jeans. The 501 jeans this store offers are not the original 501 jeans. It has a much tighter fit and the material itself is no where near as heavy duty as the original 501s. Although I ordered men's jeans, they look and fit more like women's jeans. I made the mistake of ordering online instead of buying in person. I will never make that mistake again.
Rated 5 out of 5Â by Pete567 Size runs a bit bigger
I dont recommend buying these online - the sizing is off and they run a little bit bigger - Ive worn the same size for years and figured it would be easier to buy online -
Rated 5 out of 5Â by Biggym Little to tight in the thigh
I'm a 32/29 and I ordered that size in the 501. They fit perfectly around the waist, but they were a little too tight in the thigh. I have muscular thighs and altho' they looked good and I could have worn them, I was afraid they would be too uncomfortable if I wore them for extend periods of time. Kohl's did not have the 501 in 33/29, so I went with the 505 in 33/29 and they fit perfectly around the thigh, but naturally were a little too big in the waist. They are very comfortable and I would not hesitate to order the 501 or 505 if they were in stock in 33/29.
Rated 4 out of 5Â by GadsdenMan Great product - Long-term quality should be better
First of all, 501s are CLASSIC! If they weren't well-made, they wouldn't still be in production. I've been wearing them for over 35 years. The only reason I can't give them 5-stars is they wear out in one particular location way too fast. When I was younger, they wore out in the knees or in the thighs... i.e. the fabric would become threadbare after years of use, and after being relegated to the "work clothes" drawer. Lately, without fail, they wear out in a, ummm, sensitive location... the fabric in the crotch, on the right side of the center seam, right below the fly, always ends up tearing... and unfortunately, before the "work clothes" status kicks in.
