I was so excited to get these curtains! We have a patio door that needed light blocking and the style and color were perfect. We hung the new hardware and got ready to hang. Imagine our disappointment when the stitching on the tabs on the back of the drapes began to unravel as we hung them. Most ripped away, some just hung by a thread. Not a great experience or value. Returning these and buying another brand. Too bad I can't find this color and fabric :(

The color is a dark grayish blue almost black. I purchased because one reviewer said dark blue at night and grayish during the day. They are straight up dark blue. So disappointed in that, it just means i go a different route in decorating. Once steamed, which took hours! They do look elegant in the end. Overall i was happy to find transverse rod curtains and that was the main objective.

The drapes arrived very quickly. They do a good job of blocking the light. They are quite a bit too long and are very wrinkled even after hanging for more than a week. I will have to iron and hem them to fit. Had to purchase pin type hooks to hang them on my traverse rods though they do have loops for hanging on a regular rod. Would have liked a lighter color since these were for my kitchen.
Rated 3 out of 5Â by WarrenvilleMom It works fine, but not light blocking.
The color looked tan in the picture but it was actually a dark true gold, which my husband liked. This is not a try light blocker, but it does help with the door draft. There are loops sewn into the back, so unless you have a sturdy rod that doesn't need a center support, you will not be able to pull the curtain all the way open.
