Rated 5 out of 5 by I love my Kitchen Aid I had been looking at purchasing a Kitchen Aid for years! I kept thinking, is it really worth the money? Do I use a mixer all that much? In addtion to all of the other normal thoughts that cross ones mind when considering purchasing a Kitchen Aid. I came to the point where I finally caved and decided to dive in to the world of Kitchen Aid mixers and I have to say that I am in LOVE! I use my Kitchen Aid AT LEAST 3 times a week, mixing anything from cake mixes, homemade whipped cream to mashed potatos. Literally, every chance I have to mix something, I do! This year for xmas, I am asking for the pasta and ice cream maker and can not wait :) 07/28/2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by Love the power! My kids gave me a mixer for Christmas. The only thing you could do to improve on this is the mixing bowl or the beaters. Not sure where you would make this correction but the beaters do not reach all of the ingredients you are mixing because of the way the bottom of the mixing bowl is made. Other than that I really like the power it has. 07/07/2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by A Kitchen Wonder! I have never had a stand mixer before. I read reviews about various brands and from that I decided on the Kitchenaid Classic Plus. I have made Tomato Basil bread, whole wheat bread, pie pastry, and the quick rise bread found in the recipe/instruction manual that came with my Kitchenaid. I even made chocolate chip cookies for my Grandson and he loved them. The thing I love about my Kitchenaid Classic Plus is the time consuming tasks are drastically reduced because of the efficiency of it. I really want to get a pasta maker and try making that for my husband. Thanks for making it easier to make made-from-scratch food. 03/20/2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by This product isn't powerful enough for biscotti. I have an older refurbished Kitchenaid with a 5 qt bowl. I thought it was time to purchase a newer model (with a tilt head), since my older one seems to run out of power (thought maybe the parts were wearing out) when I'm making biscotti. This mixer is 25 watts less and it couldn't mix the biscotti dough either. On top of that, it has a 4.5 qt bowl. I didn't think that would be a problem, but its amazing how much that half qt was needed! It also had a hard time getting the edges and bottom mixed well. I had to return it to get a more powerful mixer. My older model has been fine for regular cookie dough and cake mixes. 11/12/2014
