I had already bought the lavender bedside lamps & night lights for my other daughter 3 years ago. I bought this pink chandelier for the new nursery, which I installed by myself by hardwiring it in the ceiling. I am a female, not an electrician and this was the first time I ever attempted anything electrical, but it was super easy and it looks gorgeous and works perfectly. The hardwiring instructions in the kit are not easy to follow. It is better to do a web search on how to hardwire chandelier. Received lots of compliments and inquiries of where I purchased. I added a ceiling medallion for a more finished look.

The chandelier is made from plastic beads and baubles, but looks very nice hanging in my daughter's reading corner. It works fine if mounted and wired into the ceiling with a light switch to turn it on and off, but if you want to simply plug it into the wall, there is no switch on the chain. You'd have to manually plug it in to turn it on each time.

This chandelier is so beautiful! We ordered the clear crystal. It came fully assembled and was easy for my husband to install in the ceiling fixture of my daughter's bedroom. It's of high quality and really adds an elegant touch! LOVE it!

You will love this little chandelier. I chose the black color to hang in my own bedroom. Don't know why this is being advertised for nurserys/childrens rooms, it looks beautiful in my bedroom, a perfect compliment for the deep merlot cherry finish on my bedroom set. It gives off plenty of light and has affordable bulbs that are easily found at the hardware or home improvement stores. If I can find lampshades that are small enough I may add those to see how they look on it but it looks beautiful without them. They have other colors & models of these tiny chandeliers that I may order for another room in my home. Nice that it has the choice to hardwire to the ceiling or just use the decorative chain with the power cord running thru it to loop on hooks if you want to plug it in to the wall. Once you decide to hardwire to the ceiling though, THE POWER CORD PLUG-IN OPTION IS GONE because you have to cut it off to fit it into the ceiling. Make sure someone who knows what they are doing installs it for you if you don't know how to do it yourself!
