Rated 1 out of 5 by from Color fades quickly I purchased four complete sets of these towels for my wife. They were beautiful and, in her words, lush. After the third wash, two of the bath towels had huge rust-colored splotches all over them. We assumed we had washed them with something that had colors that ran, or that it was a result of some hair or cosmetic product of my wife. Within a few more washes, all of the towels had the same issue. However, the one that came out ruined today was one I was using and, therefore, we could rule out any chemical/product related issues. It took me a quick keyword search to discover that countless purchasers have had the exact same issue. It's pathetic that Kohls has continued to sell these towels despite a known and significant flaw, and even more pathetic that Vera Wang continues to lend her name to this shabby product. Stay away.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from disappointing-dye ran when washed I was happy to find 12 bath towels, hand towels and face cloths in the color we wanted. As one is suppose to wash them before using, I did that knowing that our company was arriving in the next few days. I was disgusted to see that ten out of the 12 bath towels, some of the hand towels, as well as some of the face cloths were streaked as if they had been bleached. The beautiful, fluffy green towels were now streaked with large orange marks. With time running short, I did not return them. I did, however, have to explain to our visitors that the collection were not dirty, but rather brand new.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from We loved these towels...at first We purchased 10 of the large bath towels total- my husband and I got the tan ones, the teal blue for one daughter, the plum for my other. They are luxurious and huge. Within 6 mos, the plum ones began to have a few orange spots on them- thought maybe my husband didn't rinse the shower well after he cleaned it and they got bleached. Told him to be more careful. Now a few months later, our tan towels have the same orange color on them, but it is everywhere. It seems the color is fading out of them to whatever they were before they were dyed? They are only washed 1 time per week. Also, I agree with the never ending lint that has finally waned since we purchased 15 mos ago. So sad.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Colors are fading and excessive lint. I wish I had seen all the fading color reviews before I bought these towels. The towels are thick and feel comfy but after only a couple of washes there are fade marks. I noticed orange spots on my new beige towels which looked like bleach fade but we had no bleach anywhere in the house so it's not that. Something is really wrong with these towels. There is also excessive lint. I had people picking lint out of my hair quite often which is embarrassing. I thought Vera Wang was a high quality name but after buying these towels I no longer believe in that name brand. I would never buy these towels again and strongly recommend going with another brand.
