Rated 4 out of 5 by from Tastes really good...and good for you So there used to be a chicken place that had a soft serve dessert made from bananas that tasted awesome, but it went out of business. I bought this machine to recreate that dessert...and it tastes just the same. Seriously delicious. Just follow the directions, including thawing frozen bananas in the microwave for 20 seconds before putting them in the machine. Last night, I timed myself: it took 7 minutes to make one serving (with 2 bananas), which included assembling the machine. Would have taken longer if I had the machine already assembled. It took about 5 minutes to clean up afterwards.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Broken Upon Receipt - Kohl's Exchanged Graciously Received a Yonanna as a Chistmas gift and it was broken when we opened the box. Kohl's was very helpful in exchanging it for a replacement even though we had no gift receipt. We did have a packing slip showing it came from Kohl's. The second one works fine and we have enjoyed two batches of healthy, tasty Yonanna so far. It is not difficult to clean as some reviewers have stated. I do feel like it is overpriced. We received it as a gift however I probably would not buy one. Perhaps after the novelty wears off and holidays are over, the price will come down. I'd like more recipe ideas :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does what it says it will This device grinds frozen fruit into a creamy pulp. It is essesntially a smoothie but without the liquid--you eat it with a spoon, not a straw. Works best if you slightly thaw the frozen fruit in a microwave first. The directions say to use ripe spotted bananas, but if you don't like to eat them ripe, you won't like them frozen and ground up ripe either. I prefer yellow/green bananas and found that they work just as well. It's the bananas that give the end result a creamy consistency. I buy bags of frozen fruit mixes at the grocery store so there's no prep mess.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product I wasn't sure if the product would work as stated but I took a chance and bought it. I love to make fruit smoothies but wanted something to eat instead of ice cream. As stated the fruit does come out like soft serve. Let the fruit sit out a minute or two and you won't have any problems. One review stated that a lot of fruit is left in the machine which is true. Just take the grinder off and remove any fruit that is left. It is still the same soft serve fruit you just have to remove it from the grinder. My grandkids kids love it and I love the fact it does not contain any sugar or milk. Great product. Easy to use and clean.
