Rated 2 out of 5 by from I was really excited when I found these spatulas! I was so excited to find spatulas that were all one piece (so the head wouldn't come off in thick batter), with a decent edge for scraping the bowl! But I've had 2 break so far when I've been using the spatula to stir cookie batter. They both broke towards the top, where the metal piece (that helps give it its shape) stops. So, these spatulas work great for thin batter (pancakes, waffles, quick bread...) but not for thicker things (bread dough, cookie dough...).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is the best spatula on the market today. I know that's a bold statement to make, however, I have 35 years experience as a pastry chef and I can tell you for certain these last 3 times as long as any commercially available spatula. The first set of 4 that I got lasted almost 2 1/2 years, being used 6 days a week, multiple times a day. They clean up easily and with the ever rotating palette of colors they'll have a color you can live with.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from My dog likes, too I've only had these for about 3 weeks, but I love them. I bought them because I hate spatulas whose heads fall off, and that get gunk between head and handle. (As soon as you remove the head to clean, it's loose forevermore.) These ones go into dishwasher and don't lose their heads. Now, I have no idea if they will get cruddy or faded quickly from being put into dishwasher, but so far they're coming out fine. These also go nicely around the sides of bowls to get remnant of batter out of bowl--have great shape for scraping. I've found other brands of one-piece ones do not. Only problem I have so far with these is that I lost one (within a week of buying it) to my dog. Apparently they make great chew toys, too. Yes, I do keep kitchen utensils off my floor, but I have a disabled daughter who LOVES to carry around spatulas, and when she's done with it, she just drops it. And apparently my dog immediately picked it up. When I found a large wad of chewed, wet, red silicone, I had to noodle it for a minute or two to figure out what the heck the dog had been chewing. So the remaining spatulas from my order are now considered "precious" and have been put into a "my daughter's favorite--and therefore off-limits--kitchen utensils" basket, so hopefully we will lose no more to this cycle of love. Especially a hope, because I bought 4 or 5 of these, so feel like I truly invested, as they're much more expensive than traditional, easily-beheaded, spatulas.
