Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed The grinder is quite loud, but more importantly doesn't uniformly grind the beans. The ones at the top are coarse chunks where the ones close to blade are finely ground, which I prefer. The finely ground coffee gets stuck to the bottom under the blades and I believe this is preventing the top beans from getting pulled down to the blades. Even tried shaking it but the coarse pieces remain. I have to take a spoon and clear the bottom, not that it helps with grinding, but just to remove the coffee from the grinder. I am not overfilling it, I have tried with various levels of beans.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Grinder I read a bunch of reviews before I bought this. I'm sure glad I didn't go with the bad reviews this grinder is awesome. Its going to make noise but its not much. Very easy to use. Great color.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well designed and made with high quality materials I was pleased to receive my new Kitchen Aid Coffee Grinder. I ordered the red color and it is stunning! rich and dark. The instructions are dead easy and the machine itself is well designed so it's a cinch to operate. I especially like that the measuring marks are engraved INSIDE the bean container which, by the way, is made of sturdy steel. Both the container and the cover are dishwasher safe or wash up readily by hand. I use it everyday and recommend it to anyone who loves fresh ground coffee.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best in this Style I've had great success with Kitchenaid products over a lifetime, so when I needed to replace my old coffee grinder, I decided to spend a little extra and avoid the cheaper traditional units. Wow! Every part of this machine lives up to the Kitchenaid design ? it's as though the team that designed this actually used other grinders to see what needed to be improved. Great job! Just one thing; you have to read and follow the instructions. Although it's a coffee mill, it works quite differently; no pulsing, for one thing. Read the tips, rinse it out every day, and you'll love this machine.
