Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not what I expected from KitchenAid This coffee bean grinder grinds the beans very quietly so that is a perk. However, there are no settings to change the type of grind you want. This unit would not work well for grinding beans for an espresso machine. For the price, I would have thought it would’ve come with a course, medium, and or fine grind option. After the grinding cycle is complete, the ground coffee coagulates at the bottom of the stainless steel grinding cup. I have yet to see a coffee bean grinder that lets you just push the button to grind the beans and walk away.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed The grinder is quite loud, but more importantly doesn't uniformly grind the beans. The ones at the top are coarse chunks where the ones close to blade are finely ground, which I prefer. The finely ground coffee gets stuck to the bottom under the blades and I believe this is preventing the top beans from getting pulled down to the blades. Even tried shaking it but the coarse pieces remain. I have to take a spoon and clear the bottom, not that it helps with grinding, but just to remove the coffee from the grinder. I am not overfilling it, I have tried with various levels of beans.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Should be 'KitchenAid - Wonder Blade Coffee Grinde I purchased this item two weeks ago & have used it every day. It grinds the coffee to the perfect size and evenly. The removal feature of the cup container is very handy and makes clean-up easy. I would highly recommend this item to any coffee drinker! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I ran it for more than ten years and it was great! When I first went looking to find a good coffee grinder I was disappointed as most were almost toy like. Then I found this KitchenAid in the basement of a Sears store. It was big as a Buick starter motor and looked like it would grind anything one put in it. I used it to grind coffee every day for over ten years and was deeply saddened when a minor part in the cup broke. I tried to repair it, but couldn't get it apart. So I bought a new one and it is a good day today!
